Love Story – Emily & Byron – Simply Sweet Photography

From the Bride: It all started in the summer of 2009. Our friends met on a dating website and decided that they didn’t want to go on a blind date alone. So our friends dragged us along with only seeing a picture of each other. My friend showed Byron one of my modeling pictures and he didn’t believe it, he thought the picture was fake. When we first met Byron was speechless, it was cute he barely spoke a word he was so shy. We then started dating and it was love at first sight. He treated me like a queen, opened doors and helped me put my jacket on, and supported me with my modeling He was such a gentleman (still is). White rock was our special place, where we could escape from everything and walk the pier hand in hand. Valentine’s Day 2014 he took me to White rock early in the morning (9am). Not a lot of people were up and moving around so we had a nice quiet walk on the pier and around the beach. The sun was shining and was so beautiful and warm. He took me to “our” picnic table (where he asked me to be his girlfriend) and he had this long speech all ready to say but looking into my eyes he started to cry and got down on one knee and asked “Will you marry me?”. I was so speechless, so full of joy. I said “Yes!”. I am so full of joy that I get to marry my knight, my rock, my hero and the love of my life.
