It’s no secret, I love Vancouver, which is why this shoot by Christine Pienaar Photography totally swept me off my feet! I love the westcoast vibe, beautiful calligraphy, and bright boho style florals from this stunning beachside creative.
From the photographer: Welcome to Jacqueline + Dylan’s rustic ocean side affair. This inspiration shoot was put together on a spring evening by Vancouver vendors with the intimate and romantic bride on mind. While we were inspired by oranges, all shades of pink and wooden touches, it is the beautiful scenery that brought this shoot to life.
With a simple base, we added rustic touches and accentuated details with the pop of colour from the wild flowers. Calligraphy was used on the cloth invitation, the R.S.V.P.’s and the name tags that tied to the wine glass with brown twine to add delicate detail. The bride was wearing lace to tie in the rustic beauty and the groom took a more relaxed approach with a sleek navy suit pant, patterned blue dress shirt and a light brown tie.
All vendors who collaborated on this inspiration shoot agreed on one thing, which was to so show off this beautiful place we live in. British Columbia has a beautiful shore line and a backyard ocean side affair is an amazing idea for any bride with an intimate wedding in mind.
We aim to inspire brides who want a small, simple but definitely beautiful and rustic summer event. We hope that brides that aspire to be wed outdoors are inspired to move their affair down by the ocean side and not to be afraid lighting up their simple base with wild flowers.
We hope you enjoy the photos from this rustic ocean side shoot and we are excited to hear what you think!
