School’s out and winter is here! It’s time for some snowy playtime and adventures. I’m a big fan of quick getaways, and love touring nearby beauties like Whistler. If you’re not into skiing or snowboarding, Whistler still has a lot to offer, like Ziplining with Zip Trek Eco Tours.
Last month, I had a chance to check this activity off my Bucket List. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and I’m so glad I got to experience it in such a stunning setting with an amazing group of ladies!
We were celebrating Minnie’s Stagette, and we had the best time! Our guides were hilariously entertaining and such great hosts. They had us zipping upside down before the tour was over.
ZipTrek offers a few different tours to choose from, some that can only be done in the summer, and some that are available all year round. We did the Bear Tour, ZipTrek’s original tour. It take you on five incredible ziplines joined by a network of suspension bridges, boardwalks and trails; with stunning aerial vistas over Fitzsimmons Creek, which completed our eco-adventure. This tour is perfect for families, groups, and those who have never ziplined before.
I also loved that they had Go-Pro ready helmets so that I could capture the whole experience.
Ziplining was amazing and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! I’m planning on taking the kids ziplining this summer – I’m told the littles can zip tandem with me as long as we’re within the weight restrictions. Can’t wait! Thanks again Zip Trek!
Linda - Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Oh, how I miss living in BC.
