Every girl at one point or another has thought about who she might choose to stand by her side one day as she says “I do!”. Most of us consider sisters, close family friends, long time BFF’s. Bridesmaids get to experience first hand with you the roller coaster that is wedding planning, but man are they signing up for a crazy ride! Kayleigh from Wondershare created this comical take on the burdens that come with being a bridesmaid. We won’t lie – these horror stories are sure to give you a good chuckle (or gasp!), but at the end of the day, it’s about being there for the ones we love ♥
From Kayleigh: My first day at Wondershare was this past April, the 7th to be exact. If starting a new job wasn’t exciting enough, exactly a week later on April 14th, my boyfriend of nearly 8 years asked me to marry him. On a Monday – so I had to somewhat supress my outright glee for the entire work week haha otherwise I think people would be annoyed of me shooting out butterflies and rainbows while we worked on marketing software. Mid-week we had a discussion about our Video Editor product and I suggested we try to talk to people about it on more of a lifestyle basis. I am a super planny-mc.planner person having worked in the event industry for a few years and all I had on my mind was our wedding. I started thinking about how most receptions now a days have some sort of slideshow or video component and how that could be overwhelming to create if you’re unfamiliar with video editing. So, I decided to tie work and wedding together and we came up with the Bridesmaid Burden infographic.
