This Valentine’s Day, wedding professionals are giving away a first-of-its- kind, $35,000 Whistler wedding package. “The idea to give away a dream wedding came out of our many collaborations,” says Anastasia Chomlack of the Whistler Wedding Collective, “we are so inspired by what we create together for our clients that we started talking about planning a wedding with the best of our work and ideas combined into one event. The fact that the community got behind us says a lot about the creativity and generosity of our community.”

Plans are well underway for the dream wedding to take place on February 27th, 2016. The winning package includes everything a couple could imagine and more to celebrate their day mountain-style with a few surprises yet to be announced. “The people I talk to are really excited about it,” says Elizabeth Tiedeman of Brilliant Events, “everyone wants to know what’s on the menu and what the dress will look like. People are really taking ownership – it’s like it’s become Whistler’s wedding and everyone is excited to welcome the winning couple.”

Those who are interested can follow the contest on Instagram . Contest entries will be accepted up until February 12th, 2016 at 11:59 PM. The winning couple will be selected by jury and announced on February 14, 2016.
